Each Herd and Elder candle is hand-poured in small batches and made with clean, plant-based ingredients for a burn that's as safe as it is sustainable. The combination of UK-manufactured soy wax and a self-trimming cotton and paper wick ensures a long-lasting, even burn with minimal soot or waste.

The candle is housed in a timeless amber glass jar that’s fully recyclable, with a label made from 100% recycled paper and printed using eco-friendly inks. As with all our products, it’s completely vegan, cruelty-free, and free from harmful toxins or synthetic additives—just natural materials and therapeutic fragrance.

Candle Care & Safety:

Always burn your candle on a level surface, within sight, and away from drafts or flammable materials. For best results, allow the candle to burn for at least three hours on the first use to ensure the wax melts evenly across the surface. This prevents tunnelling, which can reduce the overall burn time and effectiveness of your candle.

Trim the wick slightly before each use to prevent the flame from becoming too large. A properly trimmed wick will promote a steady burn and help extend the life of your candle.
