Custom Handmade Stoneware Dish

Each soap dish is hand-thrown exclusively for Herd and Elder by local ceramic artist Karen of Valley of Stone Ceramics. Shaped on the wheel and glazed in a natural oaty matt glaze with dark brown/black splashes — no two dishes are ever the same. Fired to high stoneware temperatures, they’re built for lasting everyday use.

Our subtle, embossed Herd and Elder logo sits at the centre. The gentle ridges help keep your soap elevated, allowing it to dry between uses and extend its life.

Equally at home in the kitchen or bathroom, these dishes bring artisan warmth and timeless simplicity to any space.
